PHYSICAL RENDERER

SAVE
- This is where you select where you want your render to save, and what type (format) your render is saved as.
- If you need alpha, then check the box for ‘Alpha Channel’ and ‘Straight Alpha’
- TIF will work best for renders with alpha

OUTPUT
- Change this to 1920 x 1080. All your renders should be HD or greater.
- Once you get into animation, this is also where you determine how many frames are rendered.

AMBIENT OCCLUSION
- You pretty much always want this on. To add this to your render, click on “Effect” then select “Ambient Occlusion”.
- If you have glass or transparent objects in your scene, you will need to check on ‘Evaluate Transparency’

PHYSICAL
- For final render, I almost always use Adaptive and Medium or High for the Sampling Quality.
- Be sure Depth of Field is checked if you plan on having depth of field in your render.
